Men looking into ponds

Over the past few months I’ve noticed that whenever I’m on Spa Island in Piešt’any there seem to be a number of men looking intently into the ponds. I’m not sure what they’re looking at, but they caught my eye often enough that they have become a bit of a photo series. Here are some of the best shots I’ve captured:

June was a bit of a poor month because Summer is here and there are many other things for guys to do rather than stare into ponds, but I did manage to capture a shot of this guy:

So men looking into ponds season may have ended for the moment, but it was fun while it lasted. I’m sure they’ll return to look into the ponds once more as summer continues.

Men with cats

From Sad and Useless comes this truly amazing collection entitled The Absolute Worst Pictures of men and Cats. A couple of sample pictures are below but why not treat yourself by viewing the whole collection. My only question is about the inclusion of the Morrissey picture, which really doesn’t seem that bad. Maybe the writer just doesn’t like Moz.

Taken in the garden. I’m really pleased with this photo – and that doesn’t happen often!

Spooky trees

It’s amazing how trees which look perfectly normal in daylight look eerie, almost sinister when night falls, especially with light shining through the leaves/branches. I took these photos when walking home from the train station in Piešt’any.

Squirrels in the park

I took these in January, on a day when I finally remembered to bring my zoom lens to the feeding area. The squirrels were very active, which made taking their photos fun.
