Order No Rainbows

Life as an expat, Photography, Crafts, Vegan Food, Music, Art, Animals…..

So much has happened in the last few months…

on June 17, 2012

I’ve made some real changes to my life, which means I haven’t had time to blog. So here’s a short update – I got my CELTA qualification and am now qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language to Adults. Started a teaching job in April which I absolutely love. Had lots of new teacher experiences – more details in future posts, but basically I’m really enjoying teaching. If all the horrible stuff that’s come my way over the last couple of years hadn’t happened I wouldn’t be where I am now so in a roundabout way I’m grateful for the experience. It’s put me on a better career path, improved my physical and mental health and reminded me of what’s really important in life – and it’s not about trying to fit in somewhere you shouldn’t be and trying to please people you don’t like and can’t respect. I’ve also become vegetarian again and feel much better for it – so much so that I’m seriously contemplating taking the next step and becoming vegan. I just can’t see the sense in eating meat or animal products anymore. So I don’t do it. Simple as that really. So I’ll probably be posting things about vegan recipes, animal rights etc in the future as well as all the usual nonsense….
