Putting the beards into Bearded Theory

on August 15, 2011

As we were sitting comfortably in the knitting tent we sold a number of knitted beards. This may seem like an odd thing to sell, but one of the main events at the festival is to gather together as many people as possible who are wearing fake beards in order to set a world record. So here are some of the results:

A splendid example worn by an unknown gentleman

Beck Brooks – this young man knows how to wear a beard

Bearded nonsense on the main stage

The guy with the microphone and the long hair is “Wagner” from the X factor or some similar show – for some reason he was doing an appearance at the festival and needed a beard for this – he didn’t pick one himself but he had his people come and pick out a knitted beard for him which he worse onstage. Well done to Lisa for making the beard – and boo to Wagners people who didn’t want to buy the beard (for a mere fiver) but took it on loan promising to return it – and didn’t! Never trust reality tv stars – or their “people”
