Nozstock festival

on July 14, 2010

I spent last weekend in Herefordshire (just outside Bromyard) at the Nozstock festival, which was great. We had fantastic weather for the whole festival, which was a contrast to last year’s mudfest. I was working in the knitting tent with Jacky and Lisa from the Bolton Knitting Noras and we had a great time. The circus skills people were based just outside our tent and gave us more than the occasional giggle. Even if some of the lithe young lovelies hula-hooping their hearts out made us feel old… But the cider was lovely. Very lovely. We met Noz himself on the final day and he told us it had been a disappointing year in terms of ticket sales, which was a real shame. Nozstock is one of the smaller festivals and it would be a shame if people didn’t continue to support it – so please consider it if you’re planning to go to some festivals next year.
